FEATURES
Relentless (2) - Passive: The Writhing Ordinant can be spotlighted up to two times per GM turn. Spend Fear as usual to spotlight them.
Adherence - Passive: The Writhing Ordinant can climb and walk on any surface. Additionally, they can mark a Stress to move up to a Far range instead of a Close range before taking an action. Spend a Fear instead to make a standard attack against all targets in the Writhing Ordinant’s path when moving.
Demonic Influence - Passive: When a PC with any number of infestation tokens damages the Writhing Ordinant, the damage is reduced by 4 for each infestation token.
Command the Infested - Action: Mark a Stress to compel a target within Close range that has an infestation token to fall to their knees in reverence, becoming temporarily Vulnerable and Restrained. The target can refuse by marking 2 Stress or by describing how they attempt to shake off the influence, making a Reaction Roll with the appropriate trait. On a failure they lose a Hope and become Vulnerable until they roll with Hope. On a success, they can remove one infestation token.
Insidious Swipe - Action: Mark a Stress to make an attack against all targets within Very Close range. Targets the Writhing Ordinant succeeds against take 4d8+4 physical damage. A target that does not use Armor Slots to reduce the damage marks 1d4+1 Stress.
Scourging Rebuke - Reaction: When a PC attacks the Writhing Ordinant from beyond Close range, mark a Stress to give the attack disadvantage.
Charnel Aura - Reaction: Countdown (2d4). When the Writhing Ordinant is in the spotlight for the first time, activate the countdown. When it triggers, a dark force emanates from the Writhing Ordinant, increasing the cost of failure. Whenever a PC makes a roll with Fear within Far range, they lose a Hope. If the PC is Vulnerable, you gain an additional Fear. If the Ordinant takes Severe damage, the countdown restarts.
