A tall lizard with a frilled headplate and powerful hind legs that allow it to move very quickly. They move in packs; some are trained to be mounts and are known to be skittish.

FEATURES

Powerful Legs - Passive: The Veloraptid can mark a Stress to move to a point within Far range instead of Close range before taking an action.

Pouncing Strike - Action: Make an attack against a target within Close range. On a success, mark a Stress to deal 3d10+8 physical damage and knock them to the ground with the Veloraptid on top of them. The target is Restrained and Vulnerable until they break free with a successful Strength Roll or if the Veloraptid is moved, clearing both conditions.

Easily Frightened - Reaction: If a PC succeeds on a Presence Roll to scare or intimidate the Veloraptid, it moves away from the PC to a point within Close range and has disadvantage on its next action roll.
