FEATURES
Eyestalks - Passive: When the Soul Flower enters the scene it has 1d4 eyestalks. It can have a maximum of six eyestalks.
Withering Smell - Passive: The first time a target comes within Close range of the Soul Flower they must succeed on an Instinct Reaction Roll. On a failure, the target loses a Hope and you gain a Fear.
Eye Beam (X) - Action: Mark X Stress to make an attack against a target within Far range, where X is up to the number of eyestalks the Soulflower has. On a success, a target takes 3d12+8 magic damage. If a target is hit by more than one beam, combine the damage. The eyestalk then withers and falls away, summoning a Rolling Eye within Melee range.
Skitter - Action: Mark a Stress to move up to Far range instead of Close range before making a Tentacle attack.
Essence Drain - Reaction: When the Soul Flower hits a PC with its standard attack, you can spend 2 Fear to drain vital essence from that PC. They roll their Fear die and divide the result by 2 (rounding up). The PC loses that many points from their highest attribute, while the Soul Flower sprouts that many eyestalks from its central mass and clears half the amount of Stress. The PC’s attribute points are restored when the Soul Flower is defeated or the scene ends.
