FEATURES

Stonewither Spores - Passive: The Basilisk’s body is covered with Stonewither Spores that can turn living material to stone. When a PC has 3 or more petrification tokens, they are Restrained. If a target has 6 or more tokens they must make a death move. A petrification token can be removed with a successful Finesse Roll (16 + the number of petrification tokens). A critical success removes all petrification tokens.

Diseased Hide - Passive: On an attack within Melee range against the Basilisk, the attacker gains a petrification token.

Infesting Claws - Action: Make an attack against a target in Very Close range. On a success, mark a Stress to deal 2d20 physical damage and the target gains a petrification token for each HP they mark.

Petrification Breath - Action: Spend 2 Fear to release a vile blast of petrifying spores in front of the Basilisk in Far range. Give all targets in the area a petrification token.

Rampage Spike - Reaction: Countdown (Decreasing 4). When the Basilisk takes damage for the first time, activate the countdown. When it triggers, the Basilisk slams its tail on the ground, causing a shockwave. All creatures within Close range must succeed on a Strength Reaction Roll or be knocked to the ground and made Vulnerable until they next act. Targets that are Restrained have disadvantage on this roll. If the countdown ever decreases its maximum value to 0, the Basilisk does a giant sweep with its tail against all creatures and objects within Close range, dealing 2d20 direct damage. If a petrified creature is in the area, they are smashed to pieces.

Momentum - Reaction: When the Basilisk makes a successful attack against a PC, you gain a Fear.
